Abstract
This article seeks to generate contributions around government practices as axes of the identity constructions of political spaces in Argentina. The absence of research on the relationship between communication strategies, identity definition and political practices makes empirical studies necessary.
The triumph of the Frente Cambiemos in 2015 based on topics such as modernization and transparency, together with a campaign marked by an anti-identity discourse, defined its coalition profile and supported certain key public policies, particularly at the local level. Therefore, the analysis of political discourses and decisions are important inputs to understand the construction of the myth of government.
For this reason, two municipalities in the province of Buenos Aires, La Plata and Berisso, were selected in order to identify similarities and differences between discourses and public policies around the definition of the myth of government of the Cambiemos space 2015-2019.
