Abstract
The Open Government Partnership is a platform for state reform inspired by the principles of access to information, civic participation and accountability. While the Ibero-American justice sector is keen on the possibilities of this global effort, its involvement has certain features that need to be analyzed. Ibero-America is the region with the largest number of justice commitments, that mostly seek to increase access to information and accountability through a vision of open jus-tice. These commitments also increasingly take into account the need to address the situation of disadvantaged minorities. In a global context, Ibero-American justice commitments are highly ambitious, achieve a high level of completeness and a sound impact on opening up justice. Meanwhile, some governments are more efficient in using them to reform the justice sector and manage to achieve better results.
