Copyright information

Acceptance by the journal implies that the authors transfer the reproduction rights in a non-exclusive way to the Faculty of Government. Articles can be cited as long as the original source is indicated.

Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública is edited by the Faculty of Government of the University of Chile and published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license (CC POR 4.0).

Under this license, the authors retain the copy rights (copyright) and assign the right of first publication to the journal.

CC BY (Attribution) allows others to copy, distribute, display and make derivative works, even for commercial purposes, as long as they acknowledge the original work, for example, through quotations.

The authors who publish in this journal do so under the following conditions: (CC BY 4.0)

The authors are free to make other contractual agreements for the non-exclusive distribution of the article they publish in this journal (such as including it in an institutional collection or publishing it in a book), as long as they clearly indicate the original publication of the work in this journal.

In this way, the author(s) declare:

  • The author(s) agree to submit to the editorial rules established by Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública.
  • The author(s) declare that they are the original and exclusive owners of the author's economic and moral rights over the article, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 17,336 on Intellectual Property (Chile) and that, if you have used other people's works in the creation of the article, whether in whole or in part, you declare that you have the respective authorizations or licenses for use from their respective owners or that their use is expressly covered by any of the exceptions established in the Law.
  • The author(s) expressly release the journal Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública, of the Faculty of Government of the University of Chile, from any subsequent liability for any legal, regulatory or contractual infraction that may eventually be committed or has been committed in relation to the manuscript, being obliged to repair any damage that may result from the infringement of these or other rights.
  • That, through this act, the author(s) authorize the journal Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública of the Faculty of Government of the University of Chile, so that, by itself or through authorized third parties expressly by this, exercise the rights specified below, with respect to the article sent:
  • i) Publication, editing, reproduction, adaptation, distribution and sale of the reproduced copies, including making available to the public online by electronic or digital means, of the article in the Spanish language, in all known territories, whether Spanish-speaking or not, and for all types of printed edition on paper and electronic or digital, through its inclusion in Estado, Gobierno y Gestión Pública, of the Faculty of Government of the University of Chile or other publication edited by the faculty.
  • ii)This authorization is granted on a non-exclusive, free, indefinite, perpetual and non-revocable basis, as long as the corresponding rights subsist, and releases the State, Government and Public Management Magazine of the Faculty of Government of the University of Chile, from any payment or remuneration for the exercise of the aforementioned rights
